Website operation and server logs

When this website is requested, technically necessary connection and server-log data may be processed in order to deliver the website, maintain technical security and investigate faults or misuse. The legal basis, where applicable, is the legitimate interest in secure and reliable website operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact enquiries

If you contact the studio by email or through a contact form, the information you provide is processed to answer the enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or perform a contract. Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or the legitimate interest in responding to business communications under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

WordPress and technically necessary storage

The site may use technically necessary WordPress cookies or comparable storage for administration, security and functions explicitly requested by the user. Optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking is not introduced by this theme. If such services are added through plugins or external tools, this notice and the consent mechanism must be reviewed before activation.

SoundCloud and external media

SoundCloud players on the References page are embedded directly and are requested when the References page loads, even while a reference category is visually collapsed. Your browser therefore establishes a connection to SoundCloud when that page is opened; data such as IP address, browser/device information and technical request data may be transmitted to that provider. SoundCloud’s own privacy terms then apply. This direct embedding must be considered in the site’s consent and privacy configuration.

Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as required for the relevant purpose and for any applicable statutory retention or defence periods.

Your rights

Subject to the requirements of the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, consent can be withdrawn for the future.

Right to complain

You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde) if you believe that processing of your personal data infringes data-protection law.

Changes to this notice

This notice will be reviewed whenever hosting, forms, analytics, embedded media, plugins or other processing activities on the website change.
